1st Annual Centreville Community Yard Sale
Each year, the Village of Centreville holds a community yard sale. As our office is located in this village, Dial-A-Ride decided to join in the event. On May23rd, 2011 we were part of this event that allowed us to better connect with the community that has shown us support, and welcomed Dial-A-Ride with open arms. Our whole event was “by donation only,” and we had great success despite the cold and rain. We had many visitors, including our local Member of Parliament - Mike Allen!

We plan to participate in the event in the years to come, making it an annual fundraiser for Dial-A-Ride! This will also be our chance to meet and greet many residents of the area we aim to serve.

Temperance Vale Family Fun Day
On July 9th, Western NB Dial-A-Ride attended Temperance Vale’s first scaled outdoor event to occur in 23 years. “Family Fun Day” featured a parade, outdoor games, face painting, and a BBQ. Special thanks to Tim Horton’s for their donation, and to the Florenceville Kin’s Community Center for allowing us to use their popcorn machine. Dial-A-Ride is honored to have participated in this event!
